Carol Baker is currently attending Johnson & Wales University where she has already received her Associates degree in Baking & Pastry Arts. She is now in the process of getting her degree in Food Service Management. She is originally from Chatsworth, CA and started as an intern at Gateaux in 2007. Having the dream of working in the baking industry since her days in middle school she now performs various duties including baking, assembling cakes and chocolate work. |
Arielle "Elle" Cristobal, was born and raised in Long Island, New York before relocating to Colorado as a teenager. Baking has always been a passion of hers since age 3 and as long as she was old enough to consider what she would do for a career, becoming a Pastry Chef has been it. She attended the Denver campus of Johnson & Wales University and graduated Summa Cum Laude with an Associate Degree in Baking and Pastry Arts in 2006 and a Bachelor's in Foodservice Management in 2008. She has been working in the Foodservice industry for about 8 years and has been at Gateaux Bakery since the fall of 2008. With an extreme love for Pastry Arts and an eye for detail, Elle looks forward to making every cake and pastry she creates a unique, fun, and exciting piece of art! |
Kelly McGeehan is originally from Edison, New Jersey. She graduated from Johnson & Wales University in Charlotte, North Carolina. Following an internship in New York City with Mitchel London Foods, she settled in Denver. Kelly joined the Gateaux team in 2007, beginning as the baker and moving into a full-time cake artist position. Her favorite part of working at Gateaux is the artistic freedom. |
Native to Southern Oregon, Rachel Wille relocated to Denver after high school in 2004 to turn her lifelong baking hobby into a Pastry Arts career by attending Johnson and Wales University. She began working at Gateaux after a three month internship there in 2005, and has since advanced to Assistant Manager of the bakery. Rachel graduated Magna Cum Laude in 2008 with degrees in Baking and Pastry Arts and Food Service Management, and enjoys the artistic and creative aspects of her job the most. |
